Terms of Use

SquadPilot FPL is a decision-support tool for Fantasy Premier League. It produces recommendations and projections. You make every decision and every move on your own FPL account yourself. SquadPilot cannot act on your FPL account and never will.

Projections are estimates built from public data. Football is under no obligation to follow them. That is why every projection is frozen at the deadline and scored in public on the Decision Ledger, misses included. Use the service at your own judgement; we are not responsible for the outcome of your fantasy decisions.

Please don't abuse the service. No scraping the app at volume, no reselling access, and no attempting to disrupt it for other managers. We may suspend accounts that do.

SquadPilot FPL is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club.

Privacy

SquadPilot reads only public data from the official Fantasy Premier League API: the same fixture, player and team data anyone can see. Importing your squad uses your public team ID. We never ask for, collect, or store your FPL password.

What we hold, and why:

• An anonymous session ID in a cookie on your device, kept for up to a year. It is a random identifier, not your name, and it is how your plans, settings and daily allowance survive a refresh. There is no account or password.
• Your FPL team ID, if you link one, and the squad, plans and decisions you save in the app. Decisions frozen at a deadline go onto the Decision Ledger with the model version and data that produced them.
• Your email address, only if you buy Pro. The payment provider needs it to take the payment and send the receipt. We don't use it for marketing.
• Payment records, handled by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
• Basic usage counts (which screens and features are used), recorded by SquadPilot itself against the anonymous session. No third-party analytics, advertising trackers or social pixels.

Who processes data for us: Fly.io (app hosting, London), Netlify (this website) and Paystack (payments). We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it: session and team links stay until you ask us to delete them. Frozen decisions stay on the public record indefinitely, because a track record that quietly forgets its misses would not be honest, but they carry no name or email.

Your rights (POPIA sections 23 to 25, UK and EU GDPR articles 15 to 17): you can ask for a copy of everything held against your session or team ID, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@squadpilot.tech and we'll complete the request within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Regulator in South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) or to your local data protection authority in the UK or EU.

If what we collect ever changes, this page is updated before the change goes live, with the date above moved on.

Refunds

Season Pass: 14-day, no-questions refund. If you buy the Season Pass and change your mind within 14 days, email us and we'll refund it in full. No forms, no reasons required.

If we let you down at a deadline: if the service is down during a live FPL deadline window through our fault, we'll credit you pro-rata for the disruption. 30-Day Pro Pass holders get days added, and Season Pass holders get an equivalent credit.

When you are billed. Only when you buy, and once per purchase. Founding Launch pricing ran until 30 September 2026: £19.99 for the 2026/27 Season Pass, or £2.99 for a 30-Day Pro Pass. From 1 October 2026 the Season Pass is £29.99 and the 30-Day Pro Pass is £3.99. Payments are processed by Paystack and charged in South African Rand at the prevailing exchange rate. The free tier remains free, with no card required.

Founding monthly buyers keep £2.99 for the season. If you bought the monthly product at the founding price before 1 October 2026 (00:00 UK time), every 30-Day Pro Pass you buy until the end of the 2026/27 season (31 July 2027) is charged at the founding price: £2.99, charged as the same amount in South African Rand you paid then. The app shows it before you pay as "Founding rate: £2.99 for 30 days, yours until the end of the 2026/27 season". This applies only to founding monthly buyers; everyone else pays the price in force when they buy. Nothing renews by itself: you still buy each pass when you want it. The founding rate is tied to the device and session you bought it on. If you move to a new device, email us from the address on your receipt at support@squadpilot.tech and we'll restore it on your new device.

Nothing to cancel. The 30-Day Pro Pass is a single payment for 30 days of Pro, counted from the moment the payment is confirmed. It does not renew and no further payment is ever taken. When the 30 days end your account returns to the free tier, and anything you built stays readable. Buying another pass before the current one ends adds 30 days to its end date. Apart from the founding monthly rate above, a new pass is charged at the price in force when you buy it. The Season Pass is a single payment covering the 2026/27 season (until 31 July 2027): Pro ends at 23:59 UK time on 31 July 2027, including for Season Passes bought before this was written down. It is covered by the 14-day refund above. If SquadPilot ever offers a recurring monthly plan, it will be called Pro Monthly, it will say that it renews before you pay, and this section will be updated before it goes on sale.
